How can I delete my account?

We're sorry to see you go! To request that your account be deleted, first log in to the account. Then click the Help tab on the top left of the page and submit a help ticket. We will delete your account within a few days. You can also submit a help ticket from the Help Center – just make sure to include your account email address and username.

If you just want to opt out of email from your courses, you can go to your Dashboard page at, then click the Email Settings link near each course title. Unselect the checkbox and save your preferences.

You can also opt out of the monthly course announcement email from Stanford Online by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.
