Assignment due dates and extensions

Assignments are due by the time noted in the course outline page. Due dates use a 24-hour clock and a specific timezone, which may be unfamiliar to you, so take care that you don't accidentally miss the deadline. We recommend completing assignments a couple of days before they are due, just in case something comes up at the last minute.

If there is no due date listed next to the assignment name, then the assignment is simply due whenever the course ends. You can find the course end date on the About page of the course, where you first registered for it. (Note that some self-paced courses do not have end dates.)

Given the size of our courses, it is unfortunately not possible for us to offer extensions to individual students. This also holds true for starting a course late. In many cases, even if you miss a few assignments, it may still be possible for you to earn a Statement of Accomplishment by completing the rest of them with high grades.
