Course start date

STANFORD ONLINE IS RETIRING THE LAGUNITA ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM.
All open courses end at 12 noon Pacific Time on March 26, 2020. See Lagunita Platform FAQs.

Some former Lagunita courses are now open for enrollment on edX: Stanford Online launches courses on edX.
Additional courses offered on other online learning platforms are available at https://online.stanford.edu/courses.

You can see a course's start date on its About page. Click on the course name or image tile from lagunita.stanford.edu/courses to get to the About page. On the right are important dates and information about the course. The following image shows start and end dates for Advanced MATLAB:

The Class Start date tells you when the course materials became available.

The Class End date tells you when the class officially ended. Previously, after this date, one could enroll in the course and see all the materials, with the caveat of no longer being eligible to earn a Statement of Accomplishment.

Enrollment end dates have been applied to all courses.

All course lectures are pre-recorded, so you can watch them at your convenience. There is no need to sign in to an online course at any particular time of day. Keep in mind that live, instructor-paced courses have assignment due dates. Although there isn't a specific time you need to be in a course, there may be a specific time assignments are due.
