Where is my old account?

If you believe you already have an account on lagunita.stanford.edu, but you can't log in, the problem could be one of a couple of different things.

  1. Are you using the right email address to log in?

If you have more than one email address, try logging in with a different one. If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it by following these instructions.

  2. Are you sure your account was with lagunita.stanford.edu?

Stanford also offers some courses on Coursera.org and NovoEd.com, which are separate from lagunita.stanford.edu. You can do a quick Google search for the names of the online courses you've taken in the past to see what website they were hosted on.

(Note that lagunita.stanford.edu used to be called class.stanford.edu. If you had an account on class.stanford.edu, it has been carried over to lagunita.stanford.edu and you do not need to create a new one.)

  3. Are you trying to access Class2Go?

Class2Go was Stanford's previous online education platform. Stanford transitioned to the OpenEdX platform, now called Lagunita, in the summer of 2013. The Class2Go platform has since been deactivated and can no longer be accessed. You can create a new Stanford Online account at lagunita.stanford.edu/register in order to enroll in courses on the new platform. Please note, creating a new account will not give you access to any classes you had been enrolled in on Class2Go.
