STANFORD ONLINE IS RETIRING THE LAGUNITA ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM.
All open courses end at 12 noon Pacific Time on March 26, 2020. See Lagunita Platform FAQs.

Some former Lagunita courses are now open for enrollment on edX: Stanford Online launches courses on edX.
Additional courses offered on other online learning platforms are available at https://online.stanford.edu/courses.

If you find you do not remember your password to Lagunita, there are two ways to reset your password. The first is if you can not access your account and you are logged out. The second is if you are already logged in to your account.

Logged Out

If you're logged out of Lagunita, you can reset your password from the login screen at lagunita.stanford.edu/login. Click on the "Forgot password?" link and enter your email address in the email field.

An email with a password reset link will be sent to you. When you receive it, click on the link in the email and you'll be prompted to enter a new password.

If you don't see the email in your inbox, check your spam, junk and trash folders. If you do not see a password reset email, it could mean one of the following:

  1. Your account was never created.
  2. The email you entered when creating your account had a typo.
  3. The account is not yet activated.

To ensure messages from lagunita.stanford.edu reach your inbox every time, add noreply@lagunita.stanford.edu to your email address book.  Also check that your lagunita.stanford.edu account isn't tied to one of your other email addresses (if you don't list the exact email that you used to register for your account in the Reset Password window, then you won't receive an email).

Logged In

If you are signed in to your Lagunita account and want to change your password, first, click the arrow by your username on the top right of the page and select Account.

Click on the "Reset Your Password" link and you will see a confirmation message that an email has been sent.
