If you are signed in to your Stanford Online account and want to update your password, click the arrow by your username on the top right of the page and select Account. There is a Reset Password link on the Account Settings page.
Participants who are registered on Stanford Online with their @stanford.edu email addresses will not see a "Reset Password" link on their dashboard pages. For these participants, your password is tied to your SUnet login, and any changes to this information will need to be made through your Stanford account.
All participants can reset their passwords from the Stanford Online log in screen at lagunita.stanford.edu/login.
Click on the "Forgot password?" link and enter your email address in the window that pops up. An email with a password reset link will be sent to you. When you receive it, click on the link in the email. You'll be prompted to enter a new password.
If you don't see this email in your inbox shortly, check your spam, junk or trash folders, in case it has been redirected to one of these other locations. To ensure that messages from lagunita.stanford.edu reach your inbox every time, add email@example.com to your email address book. Also check that your lagunita.stanford.edu account isn't tied to one of your other email addresses – if you don't put the exact email that you used to register your account with in the Reset Password window, then you won't receive an email.
If resetting your password doesn't help you log in, clear your browser's cookies and cache, then try logging in again.
